Objective
To create a cohesive and elegant visual identity for Kaarawan-e-Ghalib, an NGO committed to celebrating Urdu art, poetry, and culture. The goal was to develop a brand that honors the legacy of Mirza Ghalib while appealing to contemporary audiences and bridging linguistic and cultural communities.
Design Approach
Logo
A bilingual design seamlessly merging Urdu and English alphabets, symbolizing cultural harmony and inclusivity. The forms draw inspiration from calligraphic curves and traditional scripts, paying tribute to Ghalib’s literary legacy.
Color Palette
A sophisticated palette of charcoal black (#222222) and rich gold (#D4AF37) was chosen to evoke elegance, luxury, and artistic depth. Warm ivory tones (#FDFCF9) provide balance and lightness.
